Cowboy Mike
Have had the same issue in DP4 and GM - copied over nvidia graphics driver from DP3 did the job for me. No solution though, just a quick dirty fix
Juanissimo
Had the same problem; it's graphics-related. You could use osx86 tools to create a custom EFI string, then paste it into your chameleon preferences using the chameleon wizard. It worked for my geforce 550ti, although it's only a partials solution.
MNSiw
For me it was NVDAHal50.kext that was causing boot problem, adding my device id solved it, now it's working fine. Hi, Same problem here. Cowboy Mike
Solved: replace kexts in /System/Library/Extensions starting with NV with the ones from the file below. Best practice is to delete them and use kext utility to drop these in. nVidia DP3 kexts.zip

bingaling
Hi bilalbg et al. I've got Mountain Lion working now with a 9400gt card. Problem is I deleted and replaced the files so many times, i'm not really sure if they are the Lion or ML files now lol... in any case, if you haven't got it working yet i can explain, just haven't figured out yet how to attach the files Worked it out So the files included are in fact the ML files, not the Lion files, with the exception of the NV Enabler. So it's the NVEnabler and the EFI string that's making it work. 9400 GT.zip
