Goron Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 So, i patched DSDT for a friend to get rid of that bios reset, fix timemachine and sound on a P31-DS3L board. The code compiles just fine with 0 Errors and 0 Warnings, timemachine and sound work, bios reset is gone Now, with THIS NEW DSDT.aml, i experience other "bugs": In iWork, i can´t open ANY type of document, means i can open, but all i get are blank sheets, in openoffice the documents open just fine. In iPhoto i cannot edit any Photo, it keeps telling me, the photos couldn´t be found at there home location. Reverting to the "unpatched" DSDT.aml cures the new bugs, but TM and Sound are gone and Bios resets every restart. Any hints/solutions for that?????????? Baldrick45 Posted January 16, 2010 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Cyberspace19 and other contributors. Here is my DSDT.AML and patched AppleHDA for this mobo. The DSDT came from a guy who posts on InfiniteMac forums and I made a couple of very minor adjustments to it since I'm not too well clued up on DSDT editing and I didn't want to stuff up what is my only computer in the house! With these two file I have working sound and a perfectly working Time Machine. In fact the whole setup seems very stable with just fakesmc, PlatformUUID, OpenHaltRestart and AppleIntelPIIXATA in Extras/CustomExtensions Hope they are of help.
