Fully working audio for Realtek ALC885

I'm having the same issue. When I drag the codec dump to the patcher, nothing happens.

It works but i cannot get 5.1 channel audio, it is greyed out, any help would be appreciated thanks.

I get extremely choppy sound with this on my dk 790gx-m2rs, I guess I'll make my own codec dump in linux and try that, thanks for the lead though!

Hi 680i user,

im using currently 10.6.1.

Is there any solution to get digital audio working, because HDA patcher does not work on Snow leopard.

At the moment I'm using DSDT and an legacyHDA.kext.

I am wondering the same thing. However I prefer linein and lineout both working, for true 5.1 and microphone input.

I have a DFI Lanparty p45 T2-RS Plus, running 10.5.2, I downloaded the txt and tried 3 different versions of the AppleHDApatcher, none gave me an error. But when I reboot no output devices for sound are found. I just installed OSX today for the first time and am clueless what to do. Another poster with the same board said he got it working months ago. If he reads this, or anyone who can help me, GREAT!
