Let me begin by saying sorry for the generic topic title & if its in the wrong section, again, sorry. :D

Now, I've done everything I could based on search results and guides but with this I'm stuck =/

Sleep works fine... Until I want it to wake up again :D then I get the black screen of death (as I've come to know it >:D and have to hit the reset button to use OSX again. I'm using my own DSDT based on the guide here + some other fixes I found. Not sure what info would actually help you people help me. Assuming anyone is nice enough to help ofc. I've been around here long enough to know most of you just say "use the search feature!", which, TBH, is really not at all useful. I've searched InsanelyMac. I've tried Google. Now I'm asking for help as nicely as I can. :)

My specs are in my sig, I'm using BIOS F13S (sent to me by Gigabyte) I've also tried F13q, F13j and I've tried F12 which leaves me without Wifi for some reason... but all give me problems with sleep. I've attached my dsdt.dsl. anything else you need to know please ask.

And while I'm talking about sleep...

Just got myself a Apple Wireless Keyboard, a Magic Trackpad, and a Belkin Mini BT Adaptor. Now, as I expected, Wake From Sleep isn't supported (greyed out). But... it works =/ hitting a button on the wireless keyboard wakes the system from sleep (or would, if sleep was actually working properly).

i had issues with realtek rtgmac_2.0.x not waking with RTL8111E.. use lnx2mac driver instead.

Didn't think it could be that cos I had sleep working with rtgmac installed before. =/ But that does appears to be it. Thank you very muchly :(:)

Now I got a new one. Keyboard works on wake but trackpad doesn't. Not too bothered bout that at the moment though. Unplug/replug of BT works lol

youre welcome.. i thought same as it worked but was on older card in g31m-es2L rev 1.1

the BT wake is USB related power management for that specific port or Bt device. theres a fix!

in my 1520 laptop i had to enable usb wake support not on by default.

but in your case theres a dsdt edit to keep that usb device awake/powered during sleep.

Nah. Wake from Bluetooth works fine (with Apple Wireless Keyboard). Its just on wake the Magic Trackpad stops working unless I turn Bluetooth off and back on or unplug/replug.
