Well steve there are only four differences between a pc laptop and your new range:-

1 is price for hardware that is basically the same, yours is always loads more.

2 is your laptop has a digital rights management chip which is a restrictive copyright enforcement chip big brother.

3 is a efi.

4 is you offer lack of choice.

This guy annoys me the most (well almost the most). The only thing bitchin about the new mac is it turns you into Apple's {censored}. Steve, you are such a jaffa. Infact you are the jaffa of the Apple world.

The only thing that stops me from buying a Mac is the price... It's ridiculous! They must be able to make 3 or 4 Apple G5's from the money they get for every one which is sold!

Gentlemen, I've got one of those bitchin' Macs and gotta say, it's freaking outrageous. Not only because of macOSX excellent behavior, but for the design standpoint, horsepower et al.

I got one because the price wasn't that different for plastic-made-almost-the-same-but-not-quite systems out there.

And there's nothing as good as having the whole Mac, not just the OS. And is better if comes in a 2.5kg package.

I think that bitchin' here is synonym of a hard to get stuff... but its worth the deployment (mine costed 2455 greens in Argentina -1GB RAM, 1.83 version- , so don't whine, u can get it for less!!)

Although I wouldn't recommend the Tower Desktops, those are really LAB PCs, and don't worth it. (I know, I use one Dual 2.0 G5 at work, not smooth at all) Stay in the consumer layer. Powerful and pretty. Or jump into the MacBook. AVOID THE MEADOW!! (haha) -Kung Paw dixit-
