Have you ever felt like your desktop has just begun to get too cluttered? Then "Camouflage" it! Camouflage is a free and unique utility leaving you with nothing but you and your desktop... If you're ever under heavy CPU usage, give Freeze Frame a go. Freeze Frame is able to take any running application and "freeze" it, causing it to consume no more of your CPU until you say so... That CNBC interview got a little tense.

 

News Guy: "So what is Apple doing that makes this phone any more innovative than the countless other music-playing phones out on the market?"

 

MacRumors Guy: "Well everything Apple make is innovative..."

 

News Guy: "Yeah but Apple has a 95% lack of market share. If it wasn't for the iPods, they're computers would be lost to strictly the graphics industry."

 

That MacRumors guy wanted to flip him off soooooo bad. I admit though, the MacRumors guy was playing a fanboy stance, especially when we went on to talk about how well it'd work with Leopard as far as integration. That's sort of ignoring the fact that the vast majority of buyers won't have Leopard or even a Mac.

 

The Loop Rumors guy hit it all head-on. Apple's bringing touch screen capabilities, their long-established powerful iTunes Store will provide tons of content, and it will have synching abilities with lot of programs, even Windows apps.

 

I guess it's true. Maybe Apple doesn't create ground-breaking ideas. However, they take a lot of semi-succesfull ideas, integrate it into one nice package, use a few innovations of their own (but nothing too bad), and sell it better than anybody else can. The way they control the iTunes Store is a perfect example.

well i hope that the isight reappears soon. i was gonna buy one soon, but i'm not gonna buy a new display to get it! that would be a large chunk of the money i'll be using to buy my mbp. hopefully they're just gonna release an improved isight (can't imagine what they could improve on, mechanical face tracking?).

rollcage, they were actually saying there were some problems with the materials used to make the iSight. I believe many people in Europe began complaining about hazardous materials and such. I'll look for a link. What was interesting is how that story was directed towards the US online store, not any of the European stores. I do think it will be possible that an upgrade is ahead, but Apple does seem to be adding iSight to all the possible machines. Why wouldn't they do it for the displays?
