Adium 1.1 Released

That little green duck we all know and love has just celebrated his 1.1th birthday!
The free instant messaging program for Mac OS X is certainly one of the best apps out there, with it's ability to seamlessly connect to many different protocols at once, including AIM, MSN, .Mac and Jabber.
The latest version includes enhancements to the contact list, such as an animated contact status transition and in the chat window, the ability to put the tab bar at the bottom, or on the side.

The full change log can be found here.

Adium will update itself through the built in updater, but you can download it manually from here.

Has anyone put this on 9a499 yet? I seem to remember a thread in the 10.5 section on how the last version of Adium wasn't displaying correctly...

i dont see any graphical errors so far :)

yeh

I can't wait for more MSN features to be included too.

But the last time i checked, personal messages won't be working til version 1.2 (that's IF they do it in time).

And I personally don't think other MSN features like video/audio is going to get supported for a while. At least 1.5+ ~2.0

I don't think the Adium team is that fond of MSN compared to other services like AIM.

I THINK it's because AIM is more popular in the US. Not sure though.

not really a mandatory update the 1.1.1 as well (for me)

Fixed #7542, the Sparkle Plus bug that caused it to crash when passed a minimum OS version in an appcast (update feed).
