Ghost only natively recognizes Fat, NTFS and various linux partitions. No mac formatted support. So it will go bit by bit. A 100GB drive will create a 100GB image even if only 20GB are used. Like if I make ad 6 gig partition image can it expand it to 120GB? jdxxx Posted February 24, 2006 Share Posted February 24, 2006 Not true. Using Ghost 9 or 2003, I have a Ghost image of a 21GB partition, with 3.8 GB of files, fits in a 1.26GB Ghost image. And restores properly. Use high compression setting in Ghost. Run ghost from Windows.
