This is just an installer that grabs your cpu info and outputs it for the "About this Mac" window. Please try it and report back, I have included support for all languages, so hopefully it works for everyone. AboutThisMac AboutThisMac.zip I tried it, and it worked on snow leopard, partially. But I've since removed it because it's altered the ram reading from 800mhz to 677mhz? Do you know how to correct this? I have already replaced the string file with a backup! bcobco Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 hi something went wrong when trying to edit strings... i have now everything strings with "ABOUT_BOX_etc_etc_etc". i think that this happened after trying to set a large string. im not sure how to revert, because Defaults only can revert image, not strings. tanks in advance. ####################EDIT################## "/System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/AboutThisMac.strings" WAS EMPTY!!! now is fixed. peace Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
