hi all,

finally i got my kalyway 10.5.2 work on my intel e6750 (p5kc mobo)...but i have (think a small) problem booting osx. it boots only if i leave the installation cd inserted into the dvd sata drive, otherwise - if removed - a blank cursor keeps blinking all the time and the system stucks.

the first time i had this problem the system returned a b0 error, i tried to follow this in the Terminal.app : (quoted from osx86project wiki)

sudo -s (enter your password)

fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (the disk number may be different on your installation, eg. rdisk1)

print (list all partitions)

flag 1 (sets partition 1 as bootable - might be a different number on your installation)

quit (answer y to save settings)

When this solution does not work, try this:

Start the computer with the CD.

Wait until you can start the Terminal from the menu

Type this:

fdisk -u /dev/rdisk0 (or any other number if it is not the first disk)

but....but...as i type fdisk -e or fdisk -u it return the message "resource busy" and cannot go further and, as a result, the system keeps booting only if i leave the installation cd inserted...

any idea???? help...please.!

thanks

daniele
