Hi man, it also gave me this message, i changed the memory video size (onboard from 64 to 32mb) in order to let more RAM free and all are going well im on step 21 of this tutorial.

My doubts are on kexts once im installing on a notebook HP/COMPAQ V6210BR:

Mainboard (ukn/ukn) Chipset (nVidia / C51M (North Bridge) & MCP51 (South Bridge)) / Processor (Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3500+ 1,8 GHz) / RAM (1GB) / Vídeo (NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150) / Network (10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN integrated- conector RJ-45 - Wireless:Broadcom WLAN 802.11 b/g) / Audio (onboard 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro-compatible audio; Altec Lansing® speakers; AC audio link;) / HD (60 GB Sata - 5400 rpm) / DVD/CD-RW 24x / Keyboard ABNT2 101 keys and Touch Pad.

Till now Im using usb mouse and keyboard, cause notebook's not recognized.

Where can i find more information about Kalyway drives?

Thanks Kalyway and Hanchintosh creators.

Help please...

After install, rebooting my laptop cant initialize MAC OS always showing "Still waiting for root device".

I tried yet type in the command line of Darwin:

platform=X86PC -v

-x -v

rd=disk0s* -v (replace the * with your OS X partition number)

-f -v

platform=ACPI -v

and nothing changes and always returns the same message "plist not found".

:)

i am using kalyway on amd athlon processor. When i put the disk in my drive and restart my laptop the installation starts. it asks to press F8. after pressing f8 i had entered many commands like

1. -v -x cpus=1

2. cpus=1 -v -x platform=x86pc

3. -x

and many other commands

but after loading few files the laptop suddenly turns off and restarts. What should i do.

Plzzz Help

When i downloaded the iso file Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd there was one folder add kext to dvd and in which there was one file named add kext to dvd.rtf which said to do something which i don't understood. it said

Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8

if you want adding drivers support to dvd boot then put kexts you want add to dvd extensions in this folder (you can find natit for at hd in this folder) and run Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command !!!

i also did not do this.

You're DA MAN.

Thank you, I just got on irc for the first time in my life and got the kernels :P

edit: Just want to say that with the 9.2 sleep kernel has finally fixed my sleep. It go to sleep in about 6-7 seconds and wakes up within 2-3 seconds. Restart and Shutdown works good too.

THANK YOU KALYWAY AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO MADE THOSE KERNELS :)

If anyone wants these kernels, let me know and I'll email it to you.

i am a beginner on this and i am currently downloading the Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd and i think that if i could get the kernels you got for me to use if thats not a problem of course, you can email them to my email address micallan_17@yahoo.com.

thanks

Hello,

I've installed kalyway 10.5.2 but after reboot it couldn't start.

With -x -v I get :

[conde]

localhost DumpPanic[37]: Error getting a reference to IODeviceTree:/option

localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/macOS/loginwindow[30]: Login Window Application Started

Interfacemaer: no network interface, could not update platform UUID

Could not establish network configuration: Success!

[/code]

Configuration:

Core 2 Duo E7400

P35 ASUS P5K SE

DDR 2GB -2

SATA DVD

Need advice how to fix that error.

Thanks

I have installed Kalyway and everything is working except for my LAN

I have a Realtek RTL 8111B which was working but then after a restart it failed to work.

So I restarted again and nothing... after a few hours of searching I found a driver package and installed it (RTGMac_v2.0.0.zip) no result... but after restarted twice it worked again.

Then one more restart and not working again?

What the hell is going on here?

I have also a REALTEK wireless adapter but it is not being recognized at all even after installing the latest driver package (RTL8185_MacOS10.4_Driver1.4.0_UI_1.4.2.zip)

Are there now too many drivers installed? how do I force a driver to be used?

Help

what if I boot under a different Kernel?

Here are my other stats:

CPU intel dual core E2200 2.2Ghz

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G

Graphic card Nvidia Ge Force 9800GT

Sound(On board) Realtek codec ALC662

My system is dual boot with xp sp3 on a seperate hardrive

Thanks in advance

-D

Asus m2a-vm

Ati Radeon x1250

2 GB Ram

IDE DVD

an OLD 40 GB IDE HDD with SATA converter on SATA 1 slot (OSX installed on here)

1 TB SATA HDD for lots of extra space

Install took less than 45 minutes with mostly default stuff...used MBR instead of GUID with Mac OS Extended (Case-Sensitive, Journaled). Takes a little over a minute to boot which is annoying but expected. Sound works and so does network card. Also, my cheap SD Adapter works just fine. USB mouse works but my old dell ps2 keyboard works only when i unplug and plug it back in (annoying). The only problem is that the OS seems to crash a bit and it's completely random. I'm running now with -x flag and i'm downloading iDeneb v1.4 so see what the newer version does. I tried to kalyway combo update but it seems to freeze when trying to reboot...oh well. Firefox crashes all the time, but I'm waiting for google to make chrome available anyways. All-in-all i'm very pleased considering that i'm meshing old with new hardware.

Another problem is that the hdd is pretty old and i've had to use Tuneup Utilities in XP to fix physical errors. I'm not seeing an option to do anything like that in OS X...

Hi,

I am a total newb at this, but want to try to run OSx on a PC. Based on the posts, your DVD is very good. Where can I go to download the .ISO? I tried following the donate link, but it's in French and I can't understand what is required.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi guys to install OSX Leopard 10.5.2 i have used this guide http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...DualBoot_10.5.2

Everything went ok until i had to insert GParted live CD. It is based on Debian as i have noticed, but the problem is that my graphics dont work on Debian, X dont work and screen cannot display that mode. At the moment i can't boot into win XP or mac. So i would like to know is there any alternative for GParted CD?

Specs:

MSI P35 Neo 3

E7200

ATi HD 4850

DDR2 800 mhz 4-4-4-12

HDD SATA seagate 250 gb 7200rpm

Is it possible to use any other linux live-cd to do that step? i have ubuntu.

I Would appreciate any help.

at long last, i had the time and the inspiration to get this thing going. I was able to install tubgirl's Tiger on my AMD 64 X2 desktop via USB external drive. but then, my asus a3a laptop which died a long time ago was able to power up again, probably thanks to 3 drops hehehe... anyway, so i removed the external hd, returned it to the asus laptop, and installed Kalyways 10.5.2... everything works! well, almost, wifi won't. i tried the iwi2200.dmg from the google site, but wont get past the "pls. restart" thingy after a reboot. so i just logged in safe mode, deleted the folder from the systems folder, got an extremely long LAN cable... a macbook at last!

i forgot, on initial boot up after install, got the blue screen error... just followed what the readme says and installed the intel drivers. problem fixed!

now my next steps would be on updating to 10.5.4 to try the iwi2200 fix again.

You're DA MAN.
