HackBook Pro
I have a D-Link DWL G-630 (pci168c,1a) and I need help using it in OS X 10.5.2. I have tried using the IO80211Family.kext from 10.4.8, and if I add my card to that file, the card appears, but I cannot turn it on. I have also tried using the IO80211Family.kext that is in 10.5.2, and if I add my card to that file, if I click on the airport icon on the menu the OS freezes. I have read that I need to edit a Network Preferences file, but I have a built in ethernet card too, and i didn't know what to change in that file.
