drdarkman Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 ok so everytime i try to do my windows updates i get the above error. i've installed bootcamp when it was in beta version on my white imac tiger machine, and got the same error. i installed leopard on the same imac and still got the same error. has anyone run accross this? my best guess is either it has to do with bootcamp running in the backgroud or with my version of xp i'm running. My xp is a student release though i believe. so it can be installed of dozens of computers without any problems. a buddy of mine used the same cd and installed vmware fusion and he can do his updates through that just fine. any thoughts? Falcon351 Posted March 30, 2008 Share Posted March 30, 2008 Google the error code - might be faster/easier than waiting for people to reply. BTW, Boot Camp is not "running in the background".
