relder17
I finally got my Iatkos hackintosh up and running. OSx loads fine and the wifi works. However, after about 5 minutes, without fail, my computer just shuts down completely. Here's my hardware: Asus p5k-e wifi-ap MB Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz CPU ATI X1950 GT 512MB VGA G-Skill 4ghz DDR2 1066 Ram Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. tweak41
Is there any other hardware plugged in? I'm assuming that you've run windows or linux without a problem so it shouldn't be one of your core componenets causing the problem. Are you overclocking or doing anything else with your BIOS? relder17
This is an OSX only computer. However, I think I figured it out. I think it was overheating for some reason. I opened the case and fired it back up and its working fine now. Hopefully it will stay that way and I'll be able to figure out a cooling solution. Its weird because I'm not overclocking or anything.
