Software Updater
I am sorry if this is in the wrong section but I was wondering if it is possible to run Mac apps without install OSx86 in VMWare.
Colonel
I would think that someone with so many certifications would be able to answer such a simple question as this... No, you can't run OS X apps on Windows.
rollcage
Only if you count Safari, Quicktime, iTunes, and Airport Assistant...
Colonel
Only if you count Safari, Quicktime, iTunes, and Airport Assistant... I think he was referring to native OS X apps, not just ports..
Panik
The potential of having a Darwine-like solution for Windows is an amazing idea. I'm surprised no developers have attempted to reverse engineer the OS X framework... (I could be wrong)
Superhai
The idea might be good, but who would want it seriously? I mean the frameworks are pretty big and alot of work to implement. And to run mac apps? Most apps are already ported to windows or have equivalents.
~pcwiz
Most apps, but some like GarageBand have no equivalent in Windows. I bet there have been projects developed, but Apple probably didn't let them go out, because that would be almost equivalent to OS X on PCs. Software Updater
Well I didn't think it was possible or had been done but I decided to ask these experts.
