eddie11c
Ok I am real close to being done. I have removed the ./removevideo script and replaced it with ./options You may wonder why? I have added a couple other common options to it. You can now select Account_Loop_Fix Repair_Extensions_Permissions Remove_Video_Drivers Why bother? well its a pain trying to remember the commands to skip the account loop if you run into it. I get alot of posts asking about this. The extensions one is not needed too often, but saves typing none the less. Tomorrow will be final testing on my AMD machine, if all goes well I will begin uploading to my FTP some time tomorrow night. If you have time please visit theLeo4All Wiki You can also drop into IRC irc.osx86.hu #Leo4All if you have questions/problems. I am in there to help when I can. aboveliquidice
Hello Eddie - I am a big fan of Leo4All - however I cannot get it to install on my Tablet = Asus R1E (GMA x3100, C2D T7700) I can boot from the cd - run the -v -f cpus=1 switches, and get pretty far in the installation loading process (but never to the GUI) There appears to be several issues with the loading on my tablet... After all of thye HFS+ files load - the screen skips to the script loading screen (unsure what it is called) After MAC Framework is Successfully initialized - I have several problems 1. .ACPIPS2nub fails to load 2. mDNSResponder cannot find / load any files that it attempts to 3. Finally - the install is unable to mount any od my partitions: an album with my error pics to help: Error Album Any and all help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated... ~above~

Running With Scissors
mobo= http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Mode...333-D667%20R2.0 .Have tried with Leo4All v2. -First, it only starts the instalation with cpus=1. If not, it continusly reboots before loading. Those this mean that it will only run with one core at the instalation and after been instaled? (kind of frustrating). - The it calls my atention a yellow line saying "Failed to load extension org.tgwdb.driver.ACPIPS"Nun." -Then after it finishes install, it reboots and the second atached screen stays for ever (no HD light activity) Similar problems were find at Iatkos and Kalyway. Sorry my writen english Entrar Ive had this problem before, it is due to the settings in your bios. I had to disable Hyper Threading and enable IOAPIC. Hope this helps

eddie11c
Does anyone have an idea on this problem - any and all help would be greatly appreciated... ~above~ Ok looking at this shot I can tell you what the problem is. The DVD is corrupted somehow, the Extensions.mkext is not loading properly. I know this from many mistakes during testing. Please verify the MD5, if its good you will need to burn it again. Try UltraISO at the lowest speed possible. For those asking when, the plan is the same. Will begin uploading to my FTP tonight into tomorrow, then get some people to test it prior to release. So it will really depend on how long it takes to get some proper feedback on if its working.
Running With Scissors
Updated GMA950 drivers to older AppleIntegratedFramebuffer - you should get QE/CI and resolution change with some artifacts. Could you please also leave the GMA950 drivers in from your V2 release as these work better with my setup? Thanks

collac
Well my intel LAN loads AppleRTL8169Ethernet without adding anything.. Will the kext you posted conflict with it? or is it the same? No. I have the RTL8168 NIC and before installing this kext, my LAN was running ok with the RTL8169 kext but if I used any download manager limiting the upload bandwith, then just stopped sending packets and I had to reboot. With this kext (RTL1000.kext) this problem is solved. This kext file is allocated in the Extensions folder together with the IONetworkfamily and no conflict exist. Thanks for the information Eddie - I burnt the disc at 2x - but I definitely did NOT check the MD5 (because I really don't know how) - I am gonna google it right now. I appreciate the feedback - Your the man!!! ~above~ EDIT: For those that are unsure how to check the MD5 - go HERE to download md5sum.exe - utiilize the command prompt to use it (google is your friend)

grtitan
Eddie, Something weird is happening to my system. I reinstalled Leo4All v2 and no matter what I do, the darwin bootloader never gets installed. Example, partitioned the HD with Leo, one time as GUID, another MBR, same problem, all I get is a blinking cursor, like this "_". Installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and it worked ok, but I want to use Leo4all, since for whatever reason, Kaly's vanilla kernel does not allows me to restart or proper shutdown my shuttle, but it works great with your version.
