Hi, I've downloaded your last release, but I can't install it on my pc...

After the boot from DVD, it just reboots after few seconds...

My configuration:

- ASUS M3A32-MPV Deluxe/WiFi-AP

- Chipset AMD 790FX/SB600

- Phenom 9500

- IDE and SATA HDD

It's working great here!

Shutdown/Restart working, graphics working (only detected as 200mb while it is 1GB) etc..

Audio & Wifi drivers were in the installer.

Only my ICH9 controller isn't working.

even i manage to install the graphic update ver.1 from the mac software update.. just to check if the system will crash.. and u know what it didn't

Although I'm not sure which version I have I just tried on my system and after the GUI loads and I get the Language Selection screen, my KB/Mouse do not work, I have tried both USB and PS/2 Keyboards and only USB mice. Any suggestions?

Ok I fixed the language issue in the dock and some permssions issues I was having too.

 

 

I have reworked the Device ID's for Nvidia cards and will add options for a few versions of NVinject. Please take a look to make sure your device ID's are listed.

I found a 'bug', in About this mac my CPU shows up as "2.39 GHz Unknown".

And I need to boot with cpus=1, but that seems to be a common problem.

That is not a bug, that happens to almost everyone. Only CPU's currently in use is real Macs ever show their actual CPU info.

I'm not sure if mine is listed:

in MAC, it says the video adapter cannot be loaded: 0x10DE:0x03EF

but in Windows, the device ID is: VEN_10DE&DEV_0402&SUBSYS_050510DE&REV_A1

Is there a chance You could release a full hackintosh version, included iLife and all other applications and stuff? You can make it into 2 DVD's or one doube layer. I think people wont mind two DVD's or double layer. It would be great to have FULL MAC OS X.

Hi eddie11c, first of all just wanna say this is truly a great release, reminds me of the jas tiger series. First one ever to have all the drivers i needed in a working format. Still i encountered a prolem : After install, booting the windoze partition gives me a "autochck program not found" and then a bsod (googled around and it seems the diskutility format made the windoze partition hidden). Installed twice to make sure it was not something i messed up with the same result. Anyway used the kalyway dvd to format the mac partition, then used your dvd and the error did not show up anymore. Another problem, is that in verbose mode, there are a lot of errors, most of them about ps2nub, although with no consequence.(fix: eliminate verbose mode , anyway i installed the package i knew worked stable for the ps2 keyboard-usb mouse combination, and all was ok, though still with some error -v messages) But, all in one this is a great release.

The bootloader will always flag the Leopard partition active, so before you restart you can just fdisk the Windows partition active again from terminal.

Ok after tinkering around some more I am almost finished with the updates. I need to test some on my AMD CPU, make sure everything is running smoothly. Should only be a couple more days before the update is ready for some testers. I have fixed what I hope are some Device ID issues with ATI and Marvell PATA. I will keep my fingers crossed. I updated the Nvidia kexts to the latest ones available from the Mac Pros, and completely fixed the permissions errors. I have also cleaned up the folders after the install.

hd(31,1) that part in bold seems odd to me.

If I know what I'm talking about that should reference hard drive 31 partition 1.

All of my installs depending on hard drive have been on either hd(0,1) or hd(3,2).

I'm sure someone else could help more but maybe PC-EFI wasnt installed properly.

I don't think it should refer to hd(31,1).

 

Anyone else?

gotta tell this to ya, i did in fact reach to the installation screen. and guess what... my broadcom wi fi was working out of the box... but alas, i could see no hdd in the diskutility and using my old external hdd is out question as there is too much of valuable data in there...

can ya suggest me any kext on injecting which to the dvd i'll be able to see my sata hdd?

So everything looks great except for LAN which doesn´t work at all for some reason. During installtion i disabled the integrated Gbit LAN and when I rebooted after succesful leo install I enabled it again, The computer booted up but freeze when it came to desktop. Unabling integrated LAN again and inserted a PCI D-Link DGE-528T Gbit card, the computer booted up perfectly but the card is not seen and I can´t use LAN, any suggestions?

cool, you have exactly my config. The onboard attansic l1 lan does not work anyway (there were some unconfirmed opinions that it works with iatkos series - should not ofcourse) - lack of drivers. opps, now a major problem...No SATA drives are detected, not even my DVD drive...

I tried to disabled the Jmicron chipset to see if the built in LAN would work and when rebooting No SATA drives are seen, I don´t think it caused the problem but that was what I did just before my SATA drives disappeared. Enabling Jmicron again, did not give me the SATA:s back... Ideas?
