ndep
I am working on fixing the PS2 controller thing. I am trying to find a solid working version for ACPIPlatform version 1.0.3, if you want to change to 1.1.0 I can provide working files. On the plus side, I have X11 working again so it will be included with next release. Was having some issues with it before for some reason, so I removed it. No more SUID errors, all updates short of Safari and Airport included. Safari wants to update even though it was applied and it shows the correct version. It has me baffled a bit at the moment. you mean the current Leo4Allv2 has no X11 included? oh that's is really a must for my usage. So I guess i should wait until your next release? could you give an estimation about your next? thanks!

SonicSky
Hi! First I want to thank Eddie and all the others that made it possible to get the joy of OSX on normal x86 PC! I just discovered Leo4All v2 today and wanted to install it immediately. However since I don't want to mess with my current Vista/XP Dualboot and I don't have a spare HDD for installation I thought I'll give VMWare 6 a try, I read that a few people successfully installed OSX 10.5 Leopard in a VM Machine. Unfortunately I always get stuck at the Leo4All logo with spinning rainbow cursor, I waited 30mins and it was still just spinning with no sign of activity from the VM Machine. One time I managed to get past the language selection to the Initializing Installation bar but nothing happened after this... Hardware: CPU: AMD x2 3800+ Dualcore Mainboard: MSI K9NU NEO Graphics Card: PCI-E SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON x1600xt 256MB Sound: OnBoard Realtek HD Audio RAM: 2GB DDR2 Host OS: WinVista Home Premium 32bit, no SP VM Settings tried: GuestOS: FreeBSD/FreeBSD 64/WinNT/Other Processors: 1 RAM: 384MB-1GB HDD: 8GB Pre-Allocated CD-ROM: Use Physical Drive G: (burned the image on DVD) with various BIOS settings. The pre-installation always shows a few errors like "filesystem is read-only" or something like this and "jnl: unknown-dev: open: phys_blksz 2048 does not match jornal header size 512", however I always make it to the GUI/logo. Anyone knows what (BIOS)settings I should use, or is it impossible to install Leo4All in VMWare? Also, just curious would my hardware be compatible for a real install without VMWare? Thanks for any help in advance

asoftlad
Ok all, been real busy lately, here is a picture of my progress on whats been added so far. Eddie, This looks very promising, the SMBIOS options are a great addition and the inclusion of the power management fix for laptop users along with the ACPIPlatform versions is much appreciated. Eagerly awaiting this one!

Did you extract the rar files and then burn the ISO? What did you use to burn ISO with and how? That ISO is an image file and needs to be burn accordingly. You can't just add the file to the disc and then burn it. Chevy

eddie11c
I haven't quite decided yet, but am thinking I will leaving those chipset drivers as the default install. This will alleviate some people choosing nothing or the wrong one. They don't conflict with eachother as they are all on the DVD. Only reason I don't have SAS and SI checked too is bacause they require a startup entry and would prefer to keep that area clean unless needed. I leave the Nforce clickable since some people may want the older version. I have not finished up all the drivers yet for sound/video. I have a few more things to test out before I can release it, will be a couple more days at least. I will contact a few people through PM to test it for me prior to the release also. Want to make sure its as polished as it can be(with my limited expertise).
WinLinMac01
Eddie11c, can you include the 0.2.0 version of NvInject as well? It appears this works best for me. Thanks mate. Here's what you do: When you launch nero you get that popup window that asks you what you want to do, right? Just click out of it and go up to the menu bar and click the recorder menu. From there choose burn image. It will then ask you where the image is. You then tell it where it is, then click burn. Now I haven't used nero in quite sometime, but you get the idea. Here is a link I found. How to burn with Nero Chevy
