typewriter
Just wanted to report an unqualified success. The MA69-S2H uses an AMD690 chipset, in case anyone's interested. It worked on an AMD690 chipset? With onboards graphics? Out of the box? Awesome.

emaildepot
I have a Vista working on my laptop before i installed Leo4all, I was able to install the Leopard on my laptop, however, after restarting, an error appeared, HFS+ partition error. After that, i can't boot neither to vista nor osx. How do i solve this? i didn't use any 3rd party partition manager software. I want to do dual boot on my laptop using just 1 hdd. my Laptop is MSI VR320x: Specs: Core Duo 2 (T5200) 256 ATI Radeon xpress 200m 120g HDD SATA ATI® RC410ME + SB450 - chipset 2 GB - RAM 13.3" WXGA ACV(Amazing Crystal Vision) Display SoundBlaster compatible 120GB SATA (5400RPM) COMBO/DVD Super Multi Built-in 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN and Modem Module Built-in 802.11b/g WLAN Card USB2.0 Port X 3 Mic-in Port X 1 Line-in Port x 1 Headphone Output X 1 Modem Port X 1 LAN Port X 1 PCI Express Card X 1 more power!!!! grtitan
Use EasyBCD, it has a function to fix boot problem with Vista and OS X. But, first, you have to set the NTFS partition active, sadly, I don't know how to do this from Leo4All. eddie11c
i tried new kexts cyclonefr found and it worked!all 4 sata ports now visible in ahci mode on ich9. Yes I know they work in Leopard, but working from the installer was unknown. I am going to simplify the install options for the chipsets, making it install all the ones that don't conflict by default. This will ease the amount of questions on which for people to choose. DrDeelay
No luck, apple.com.boot.plist not found error, yes i changed sata configuration to AHCI Im a bit of newbie with the whole x86, but i researched a bit, could it be that i am not install any release because of the Jmicron controller(Asus P5B)? I have no problem whatever installing on the P5B, although I don't think installing works from an IDE-DVD-Drive connected to the JMICRON Controller. Do yourself a favour an get a SATA-DVD-Drive, shouldn't be more than 15€ or a Burner for around 30€. If you activate AHCI on SATA you can only use the first 2 ports. So not using it is probably better, I benchmarked and there hardly is any improvement in speed when using AHCI. You should try to connect your DVD-Drive to one of the first to SATA-Controllers anyway, although it shouldn't matter. regards, DrDeelay!

incitatus
I just found the same problem. I am surprised that more people haven't noticed this or maybe they are all installing on their one & only computer & have no server to connect to:-)There is an error in a symbolic link /System/Library/Filesystems/afpfs.fs You can check this from Terminal with this command:-ls -l /System/Library/Filesystems/afpfs.fsIf it shows something like this then there is a problem as the link should be to /System not just System:-lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 49 Mar 25 12:22 /System/Library/Filesystems/afpfs.fs -> System/Library/Filesystems/AppleShare/afpfs.kextTo fix this in Terminal enter these commandssudo rm /System/Library/Filesystems/afpfs.fssudo ln -s /System/Library/Filesystems/AppleShare/afpfs.kext /System/Library/Filesystems/afpfs.fBefore each command executes you will be prompted for your password.I had a look inside the packages on the Leo4ALLV2 disk & the error is present there so I guess that it's something for Eddie to fix for V3 plus add to the Known Issues http://osx86leo4all.wikidot.com/known-issues Just want to say thanks! I had this same problem RE: the smb/cifs shares. I could mount manually, but not thru finder. This fixed it straight off. I was using Leo4All, but switched to check out the new Zephyroth release. I guess the same problem is present in ZephyV2.

eddie11c
Ok here is my plan, with the next update there will still be no /Extensions folder, but instead I will include 2 Extensions.mkext. The default one will have AppleNforceATA the other won't. The one without Nforce will have all the device ID's added to AppleVIAATA instead. Then it will be a matter of moving/deleting the mkext. gurukool
Hi, I have a Inspiron 1501 laptop. I am trying to install Leo4all 10.5.2 V2 but getting stuck up at the "waiting for root device". I know from the FAQ's that something is incompatible but i am not sure. This is a fairly new model. I am attaching my hardware specs here. Any help with this is appreciated. TIA.
