I only OSx version which i installed with success is 10.4.7 but since i want to use Logic 8 i need at least 10.4.9 and i don't have any clue in how to update from 4.7 to 4.9 and I'm a little afraid to do that bcause after 3 days of tring and finally have 10.4.7 i might blow it.. (u know the sensation). I tried with Leo but no success. I'm sure I don't select something from the Installation Customisation Pannel but what? Can someone help me please in this? :-s At least how to upgrade Tiger to a higher version using combo update. Thao
The JaS 10.4.8 disc would be best suited for you, as the update from 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 is really simple, just requires some copy/pasting. I don't see how the other releases just "wouldn't work" for you? Even if your computer isn't totally supported you should still be able to boot the disc and run through the installer.
