Λύκος
This method worked for me for getting two channel audio (all I need atm). It took me a bit of browsing before getting to the right place, so I'll make this a bit more convenient for anyone out there who has the same board as me: 1) Get AppleHDA Patcher v1.20 from here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...st&id=18636 (should download atuomatically) 2) Drop it into your Applications folder 3) Go here: http://psykopat.free.fr/apple/AppleHDA/realtek/ and on alc888.txt . Right-click it, save as. 4) Drag alc888.txt (or whatever you saved it as) and drop it onto the AppleHDA Patcher application icon (do not launch AppleHDA Patcher first, just drag and drop the text file onto it). 5) Once it's done, reboot. Should work 100% for a GA-P35-DS3L. Note to mods: If this guide for the GA-P35-DS3L to get ALC888 working has been posted elsewhere, my apologies, I could not find one myself and had to try multiple methods to get things working. This is only known to work on the Gigabyte P35-DS3L Rev. 2.0 It should work on Rev. 1 boards as well - the only difference in the boards is the number of USB ports as far as I know. Also imagine 2.0 is stocked with a newer BIOS. Sláinte (cheers)

poochim
Thanks. Sound working now. Just another question, when I plug in my headphone at the front panel, I have to select headphone output in sound settings at system preferences. Is there anyway that OSX will detect the headphone automatically? Thanks

otros
Thanks aukos, working great (same mobo/audio specs that you have). Well, except I have the same "problem" that phenline describes, but it doesn't really matters. By the way, apparently the link for the Apple HDAPatcher doesn't work anymore, if that the case with you, check this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=958400
