djrumbu Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 My system: Asus P5P800SE (gigabit lan, onboard sound AC97) Intel P4 3.0GHZ 2MB/L2 2.35 GB RAM Kingmax 1GB/512MB/512MB/256MB (all kingmax) Geforce fx5500 256MB/ Palit HDD 80GB SATA WD (BOOT DRIVE), 120 GB WD ATA, 500GB SATA WD. LG DVD WRITER 16X STANDARD TOWER CASE, WITH 700W POWER SUPPLY(DELUX) + Echo AudioFire 4 Firewire Soundcard (works with a pci>firewire card(via chip)) work perfect. Canon MP150 printer, work out of the box with the drivers form the cd. All working out of the box, except AC97 audio (needs a kext, but i can't say now because i don't use it as i have the echo sound card), The video card works with titan, TV-out works, dual display not working but not tested enough. DOWNLOADED JAS 10.4.8, burned it on DVD, boot, install, with standard options, i unchecked ALL the drivers, and next next next next. And that's it. installed the printer, video driver (1600x1200@100hz)+tv out (flawless).
