Hello, can please modifly the bios for my ASUS M50SA laptop.

bios link => http://dlsvr.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/M50Sa/M50SA204AS.zip

  • CPU: T9300
  • Intel PM965
  • 3 GB RAM 667
  • ATI HD 3650 Mobility (1GB VRAM DDR2)

I can't install Kalyway 10.5.2 cause of kernel panic. Leo4all worked but just with cpu=1.

Hope you can mod the bios so that the 2 cores will work.

Hello, as requested herewith enclose my bios file link (installed) mobo microstar k8n neo4 fi pcb 1.0 w7125nms (bios file)

My specs are:

Chipset nforce 4 nvdia

cpu amd athlon 64x2 3600+ 2.01ghz model opteron 170

video sapphire ati hd2600pro pci e 512 vram

ram kingmax ddr2 400 4gb detected as 667mz 128bit dual channel 3407etc instead of 4096 (this is normal on

bit hardware)

As follows modified bios settings

usb mouse disabled

lan rom wake up disabled

all ports and fdd disabled

in cell menu i have never canged anything

 

The issue i have is NO KEYBOARD OR KEYBOARD NOT PRESENT ( it appears each time i restart or shut down from an os and i push power button to switch on. I am obbliged to switch off power supply button to don't have the issue) and sometimes ide channel don't work.

Hi

My notebook is a LG R700. The processor is a Core2Duo 1.67Ghz T5450. The chipset is the PM965 + ICH8M. GFX is the GeForce 8600M GS.

 

I hope you can make a modified bios for me. Thanks in advance.

Hello Kabyl i have one thing:

 

I installed by my Father the Kalyway 10.5.2!

Kalyway 10.5.2 works fine but only with Sleep kernel and only on 1 Core and if the the APIC Option on Enabled got always the knowen Reboot Window!

 

If u have time i hope u can help me!

Processor Name: Intel® Core™2 Duo E7200 (Works only on Sleepkernel with 1 Core(In the "About this MAC" shows only 2,53 Ghz unknowen processor)

 

Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz

RAM: 3GB 667 Mhz DDR2

ATI x1950Pro 256mb (Gigabyte custom version with Zalman cooler) I will be upgrading this to a PowerColor Radeon HD 4870 "PCS" 1GB, GDDR5 on monday however ;)

 

The issue is that I can not boot without CPUS=1, if I do the kernel dies when loading KEXT's rebooting immediately. This means I only have one core enabled on the c2d chip I have.

 

Am very greateful if you can fix a bios for me.

I have a Asus P5E VM-HDMi Motherboard, a Intel Quad Core Q6600 CPU and a ATI Saphire PCIe HD2600Pro graphic card.

Hi , Im having an acer 4520 AMD Turion 64x2 TL60 processor with Geforce 7000M integrated graphic chipset. I've been trying hard to get the graphic card to work with QE/cI support but to no avail. I know this thread was suppose for mod BIOS so that the cores can be recognised. But wondering if you have any idea as to whether the BIOS play a role for OS X to recognise my graphic card as to then allocate the appropriate system memory to it. As you see Geforce 7000M has no dedicated video memory. So BIOS allocation of the system memory may play a role here. I have tried using the latest 10.5.5 geforce kext drivers from the macbook pro update but still end up having freeze screen during boot up.

Kabyl, would it be possible to mod an Asus F2F notebook BIOS?

 

It's been asked before, i searched for it and apparently you haven't done it. If you did, i'm sorry for the re-request

hi everybody, i'm new! i'm trying to install Leopard on my ASUS F3Sr notebook...no way

i've read hire and there on this forum and i've stopped hire: updating bios. my notebook seems to be unable to update bios! i've tried mod bios and also original bios, by stertup utility and by win update utility. it gives me an error when it try to read the bios file!

what can i do? without mod the bios i install Leo but it stops on gray apple screen at reboot

I was wondering if you'd be able to help me. i have a laptop which isn't booting on battery due to what i've heard is an ACPI issue. Given your experience with bios modding do you think it would be possible to mod the bios in a way that would allow it to boot without being plugged in? If so what steps would i need to take and how?

Hello,

Just wondering if I could get a modified bios for my mobo. The Model is GA-EP35-DS3L and it has the Intel P35 + ICH9 Chipset. It seems to hang at boot for the iDeneb 10.5.5 install. I also have the Ati HD 3870 video card. i believe their are kexts for the video card and the sound which is ALC888 and i will probably also have to install the ICH9 kext which im not quite sure what the name of the kext is but if you could modify the bios for my motherboard it would be greatly appreciated. I’m also wondering if you’ve been able to get your sata drives working. That was also a issue for me that I had to install to an old IDE drive because of boot issues and have heard sata drives won’t work for the most part. Is this still true? Thanks alot for your time and help.
