Tried DSDT Patcher, Chameleon with DSDT override, iDeneb 1.3 10.5.5, vanilla/voodoo_beta2c kernels, some new kexts, but haven't made it stable yet. marian99us Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 hello people, could someone help me out with my laptop i have Toshiba R25 (tablet) with 945GM chipset i have the 10.5.4 on my pc, The thing is, the computer is pretty stable as long as i work with single core, as soon as i activate the second core from bios, i get kernel panics!! and by kernel panics i mean if i a reboot several times i might also succeed in booting leopard with both of my cores activated! is there any solution to this double core KP problem??? I have an ECS P35T-A motherboard, downloaded your modified BIOS Rom and Flashed my mobo, now i have all my cores working!!! This is the latest bios. the above-mentioned bios does not have the wifi card whitelist hack. it would be most helpful if the dsdt hack could be imposed on top of the whitelist hack. I have the same model and everything. The symptoms are the laptop just completely turns off in the darwin loader when I don't use the cpus=1 flag. I think can't use vanilla kext ( shutdown/restart ) on may notebook :-( .
