thanks in advance

Another nx7400 user here :)

If someone found a solution I'd be SOOOOOOOO THANKFUL...

Hey, I've got an idea for you BIOS hackers.

I can make a website that will contain all fixed BIOSes.

Admin would have to login, to add new fixed BIOSes. There would be several Admins.

BIOSes would be in categories (category=mobo manufacturer), each BIOS would have a name, manufacturer, hacker's name, version, and there would be a link, pointing to the download site.

The website would be made for free (duh), it would have a domain.co.cc domain (free), pointing to a 000webhost subdomain.

So, you wouldn't have to pay a dollar for the site, and it would be very organised. It's a pretty good idea, don't you think?

If you are interested, send me an e-mail to graddd@gmail.com .

For those who have the MSI P35 Diamond (DDR3):

Flashed with the modded BIOS yesterday and it works. No checksum errors

and no ACPI or cpus=1 fix is needed in Kalyway 10.5.2. I still have problems

with iDeneb 10.5.5 but that probably has nothing to do with the mainboard.

Thanks OriginalMACNUT (i guess he's the one who modified it).

hello OriginalMACNUT

your site already has fixed bios for laptop ASUS F5N.

do you know if F5N bios is OK for F5SL (the one I published a little bit higher),

or it's better to wait for it's own to be altered also?

thanks

does altering DSDT is what so important to prevent osx86 from hanging?

and if it is, why ALIAS'es are included from the begin inside our BIOS'es?

are they needed for M$ products? could WinXP work after if ALIAS not present anymore?

thanks

I would wait. I have to change my oil in the car and do a few things. Then I'll try and get to everything today, bit under the weather after last night though.

be back in a bit.

Hey,

Would you give my bios a try too, when you have the time? I posted it here on July but never got a reply, so I assumed it might be one of those impossible ones. I tried it once myself, but reverse engineering isn't my cup of tea.

It's a Twinhead J12S with T7300 cpu, PM965 chipset and X3100 graphics.

Hi OMN. I rolled back to old memory (2xKingston 512 PC-5300). And was SURPRISED again that my graphics stayed broken with original Toshiba 4.40 BIOS. I was surprised because I installed MacOS with this memory+this BIOS. But when I flashed P105-S6024 BIOS 4.00 I got my video and sound again. This BIOS seems to be the closest to working configuration. Next monday I'll got 2x2Gb Kingston PC-5300 memory... I'll test if it'll work.

With great respect, jazzminos.

This is bios p35 neo2-fr with vista ulimate authorization(slic table),could your mod it please?

Thanks

I'm sorry, but I'm positive I've done this bios before, and with the current SLIC table, I'm not going to touch it.

I do not support pirating what so ever. Though I not saying you are, but that's the only reason why I would think you have the SLIC table modded for Vista Ultimate.

If you post the original bios File I'd be happy to do it for you, then you can have the person that Modded the SLIC again if that's not to much trouble.

@ Everyone else,

I've got all the request bios download and Begin work on them now, though I have a wicked cold, It's going to take longer as I feel Terrible and want to be sure it correct, as I feel groggy with the cold meds. I'm taking.

Thanks,

-Omn

Please could you mode this bios?

-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Notebook ASUS X51L-AP106 - Asus X51 Series Notebook ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

-Bios revision: 2.05

-Bios Type: AMI

- Bios Link: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip or http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X51L/X51L205AS.zip

The hardware:

CPU: Intel Celeron 550, Intel 960GL (965 series), Video: GMA X3100

The symptoms: Mac OS X boot, but stuck at blue screen when video driver was run (no mouse cursor, the system seems to hang but it's not).

After long pause (about 3-5 min) the system load and works perfect.

Could you do the latest for ASUS P5Q-E please?

I can only find a modded 0803, which was many releases ago.

Here it is:

You missed what I mean, Though I hope everyone here with a Modded Bios has at least bought the Retail OSX DVD, I know Most of my friends here have :P

However, A modded SLIC table is for in my eyes, intended for never paying for it. But that's just me, and yes. We are violating the User agreement, at least we still bought, and supported Apple :(

Yeah, the OpenDSDT is a hit and miss.

You might check the info.plist

and check to see the Hex code is spaced, I might forgot to do that. should read like <data> 44 xx xx xx </data>

and not like <data>44 xx xx xx</data> But I don't think this will help. Thinking of downloading the source, and find out where it's getting the ACPI header from, as it always seems not to work :P
