Avery Bunker
The search function is giving me an error for somereason, can someone tell me if there is a working modded bios for the acer m5620? I believe it is R01-A0 but not entirely sure. Did you find a bios for your machine??? I am looking for the same thing and have not found one for the 5620... BrandName: Acer Aspire M5620-U5210A Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600 2.4 GHZ RAM: 3gb Motherboard: G33T-AM Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD2600Pro PCI-E 512MB Chipset: ICH9 Link to bios file: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/desktop/aspi...R01-A0(721).zip I am like q66 above after numerous installs I finally have it installed using Kalyway 10.5.1 cpus=1 flag and using the sse2 kernel, the noobs guide to update any 10.5.x to 10.5.5, and now the ATI Dirvers posted by drumthrasher109 yesterday, I now have a fully working machine except the 4 cores.... Thanks again for all your guys hardwork on this and any help you guys can provide on modding my bios above would be greatly appreciated.... jazzminos
Hi. I have a very serious problem with my Toshiba P100-257. I tried to activate my Conexant sound chip. Finally I got my sound working (speakers+headphones). This happened when I used a modded BIOS from P105-S6024 BIOS 4.00 (working on a P105-S6014). This model is practically the same as mine. But it has a fingerprint reader. But the problem is that I got 2 unknown devices in Windows and my sleep function doesn't work both in Leo and in Win. It seems that there are problems with ACPI. Can You help me to correct my BIOS to get my sleep work. Whitehorse solved this problem with Toshiba P100-253. His model is identical to mine. But it seems that he is out of this forum and he doesn't reply privat messages. He also forgot to upload his modded BIOS anywhere This is the post where he wrote his method http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...&pid=840090 .
