I started the dvd with iDeneb 10.5.7 but the process stops immediately with this line: Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4230a80 Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4230a80 repeated 2 times. I tried: -v, -x, -f, cpus=1, but nothing. In the forum they told me that it is an incompatibility of the BIOS and the BIOS has to be changed. I was advised to ask you. Can you help me? Ok, something happened... after install using cpus=1 the computer reboots, I had to wait for some time, and finally everything was working... well except the mic-in. Patience is the key, forget about the faster machine... at less for booting. Once it is working is quite acceptable, maybe the reason is the cpu... got to find some core 2 duo. Ok, here is the specs. I can install Leopard 10.5.8 but only with CPUS=1 fix, or give this error message: MAC Framework successfully initialized using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80002bfafe): "Should have 2 Cores, but only found1 for Die0" Turns out activity monitor shows only one core, the overall performance is very poor, can not play a tiny youtube video (Video driver properly installed), cpu loads 90% at most of time, barely can do anything, poor than XP. People said turning off HTT feature of CPU in Bios will solve it, but this option is not available in the BIOS, hope someone can help me to modify it. I am trying to install on a Sager NP9750. Tech support set me the newest BIOS which is attached to this posting. Thanks for any help or advice you can give me! (I get a "still waiting on root device" error every time I try to install. I assume it's a conflict with the built in RAID support. I have turned it off and back on, still nothing.)
