metalchaos
I have a FSC notebook core duo with GMA950. After 10.5.2 and graphics update + Natit.kext everything is working fine, full acceleration, no firefox glitches. But the external connector is not working, no display is detected. I have a DVI connector instead of the usual VGA. If I connect a DVI-VGA adaptor and a VGA display it's working sort of (I don't have 1650x1050, only 1600x1200 max and it works if I startup with the monitor pluged-in, if I plug it afterwards I get a kernel panic). Could this be because of the Natit.kext? I put it because after graphics update desktop it's not loading (yes I get the bluescreen but I don't have mouse cursor and it doesn't work even if I startup with display connected so the 1-2wire trick won't work) Please help if I make this work I will have a 100% Mac. Gujal
I had a similar problem and it got solved by replacing 10.5.2 AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext with the one from brazilmac patch. Give it a try
metalchaos
It worked thank you!! Still the bare DVI is not working but I if I use a DVI to VGA adapter and a VGA monitor it works... but I have all resolutions except widescreen ones... all are 4:3... can I make a custom resolution for an external widescreen monitor? metalchaos
It's also working with the latest 10.5.2 AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext if I use the EFI string for my card, but still the external monitor is limited to 4:3 resolutions only. Is there a workaround for this? Can I force 1680x1050 for example?
