Nico3d3
Can anyone recommend me a good working graphic card for OSX 10.5.2? When I say working, I mean that it must support QE/CI and it must allow me to use sleep unlike my poor ATI X1600 who won't let me use sleep (the screen is blinking at wake). Anything under 200$ would be great and I don't care if it doesn't support DVI under OSX.
Donw35
In my Hackintosh I am using a PNY GeForce 7300GS 256 I got from Staples for $35, you can get these from ebay as well as others. Simple driver are available so install is a snap.
Nico3d3
From what I can gather reading posts in the forum, it seem to me that the Nvidia card are easier to work with under OSX. Is this true?

dci693
I have a very cheap 7100GS card. I only got it because it was $20 after rebate and it was fanless (I like a quiet PC). I don't play games. I watch the occasional DVD, but hot HD. It supports QE/CI, and graphics looks beautiful.
alamoa
7300GT fully compatible
Donw35
the 7 series cards are easy to install, just use NVinject drivers after install or the included ones in Kalyway 10.5.1 and you are good to go. From what I have read the 7 series GS and GT @256 MB are compatible and easy to install but do some D&D before you buy. I use the PNY GeForce 73000 GS 256, works great and is cheap.
