goofy
I like to ask which is a fully supported DVD Burner for 10.5.2 ? Do somebody have this Samsung SH-S203P up and running? Is the new LG Electronics GH20NS SATA supported or only the older H66N? What about the new NEC Optiarc 7200`s? thanks

Beerkex'd
I have a Lite-On SHW-16H5S. It works fine - haven't tried burning a DVD-RW on it yet but it shouldn't make any difference. System profiler says 'Generic Drive Support'. The coolest thing is that my old Lite-On LTR-52246S CD-RW burner is listed as 'Apple Supported Drive'. I don't think the drive itself matters, any ATAPI-spec drive should work well. If your optical drive isn't recognized by the OS, the problem is most likely that you don't have the right drivers installed for the drive controller on your motherboard.
