BriXter Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Spec: 2gb ram Ati Radeon X800GTO (512 mb) AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.01GHz (SSE2 and SSE3) ASUS A8N-E 200GB SATA Drive When i boot up the kalyway dvd (no boot options, just darwin) it goes into a grey apple background and is there for about 5-10sec, and then a black box that says; "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button.". If i start with vanilla, it just loads up the kernel, and automatically restarts the computer. Manuel Serol Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 I think your problem it's relacionated with your BIOS. Try to change some settings like disk access and memory times. I only installed hackintosh in intel systems but your description tells me the problem it's with hardware compilation.
