Boot with disc in drive - Resolved

I've also heard of this issue in the forums but haven't seen any fixes (not for lack of searching which i might just be terrible at). I used the Kalyway disc to install Leopard and the only way I could get it to install was to format using mbr without the vanilla kernal (guid would result in a com.apple.boot.plist not found error and vanilla would put me into a loop) but the problem is that now I can't boot into Leopard without the disc in the drive.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
