pcmantinker
I am trying to install Parallels Desktop 3.0 on my AMD install of Leopard 10.5.1. It gives me messages saying that my setup does not meet minimum system requirements when I try to install. Is there a way to change the CPU Identification that Mac sees to Intel? As of right now, my About Mac screen looks like the attatched image. It doesn't know what type of CPU that I have. It does calculate my CPU speed however. pcmantinker
I can look at changing it, but I am unsure of how to do that. mister_doodi
Do some googling next time. Open the DMG and do show package on the install icon. Go into contents and open up info.plist. Search for <string>GenuineIntel</string> and delete the whole line. Save and install.
