yourdogsmom
I am runnung JaS 10.4.8 on an AMD Sempron processor, the ethernet device is an nVidia nForce Network Adaptor. I have tried the ForceDeth.kext, I don't know if I did it all right? When I open up System Preferences > Network, Next to En0 there is a red dot to show it is not connected. The message reads "A cable for Built-in Ethernet is not plugged in", and it *is* plugged in. The fact that En0 is recognised would indicate that there is a physical setup issue, but the same setup worked fine with Windows XP. Is there a driver I need? Any help would be appreciated, if there is any additional information I missed out, please mention it and I will find out for you. Thanks..
