huffyslayer
Okay, the 10.5.1 install went perfectly. Boots perfectly. I get into Mac OS X and the post-install "Welcome" screen comes up with the account setup. I select my language, my keyboard, and then it prompts me with the "Do you already own a Mac" screen. I select "Do not transfer my information now" and it sits for about 20 seconds and returns to the first screen....to select my language again. I absolutely cannot get out of this loop! I have started up in safe mode and cannot seem to get anything to work! I have even selected Command Q - but it only gives me the option to finish the setup or to shut down the computer. HELP! Peppie
Do you have your ethernet cord plugged in, heard that if it is, Leopard tries to dial home for information. just unplug it during setup
huffyslayer
No...my card isn't even recognized anyway, so it wouldn't really make a difference.
