Smeagol
But then i now read that they won't make it universal, and since im thinking of getting a intel mac someday soonish, im wondering if this'd be a good idea.. Would it run a lot slower or? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8328-thinking-about-getting-the-adobe-web-bundle/ Share on other sites
dkelley
don't do it yet. Macromedia dreamweaver 8 runs ok under rosetta, you can use the gimp on osx intel natively for photoshop compatible open source photo editing and image processing (it's free and really good), and if the adobe web bundle includes anything like their nasty web editing tool (golive?), forget it. It does work, but is nothing compared to dreamweaver 8 which is now owned by adobe anyway. I hope that's helpful, I didn't look at what is in the adobe web bundle before writing this though LoL :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8328-thinking-about-getting-the-adobe-web-bundle/#findComment-51724 Share on other sites
twinkiestar
according to steve jobs, most designers still use ppc based mac and won't upgrade until universal binary version of adobe apps are out.. Metrogirl
Dreamweaver is fine on OSx86 but PS is a snail so expect all the apps to be slow under Rosetta. Now if someone finds a way to dual-boot the new machines with Windows, you'll be in a good position. Personally I wouldn't spend money on the web bundle just yet.
