cgsheen
Except for one!My 300Gb Firewire Portable Harddrive... But i cant install onto an Portable Harddrive... Right? No, you can install 10.5.1 on an external drive. I've done it... I have better luck with USB drives - my computer hardware makes it easy to boot from USB HDD's. Mac's love Firewire, and I've used Firewire drives also. You can't use Zephyroth's 10.5.1 on your internal drive because it's SATA? You'll have to partition the external drive - and make sure your PC will boot from it attached as Firewire. Better back-up all the stuff on it first... After all, With my BIOS and such, I dont think it will allow booting from Firewire Disk Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83220-need-help-with-installing-leopard-on-my-system/#findComment-591704 Share on other sites
