evangelion-01
I tryed installing both Kaliway and iATKOS v1.0ir2 on it, but i keep betting the "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found..." error as soon as i boot from the cd. Has anyone succesfully installed leopard on this barebone? Should I mess with the bios? I Search around... but less just say the search engine is not that accurate, so i only found some post saying that the jmicron is effed up and thats about it. Is there a way to copy the iso to a bootable partition and boot from it ala apple? I happen to have an empty external USB drive, so that might be of help with this, How about installing it from windows? Help please :"(. scandic
You need to install a S-ATA DVD-ROM because the IDE Port is provided by a JMicron Controller which isn't supported. burtman
Seconded on the USB drive option - worked for me. It appear to be the Jmicron controller with the ide controller on for the cd/dvd drive is not supported by most of the dvd images - I got round it by attaching a usb-ide bridge and booting from usb. Sata IDE DVD might also work.
