igors2
Hello, It's been 2 days and still no network... I installed Mac OS X 10.4.6 on HP Compaq 6720s. My network card is Intel 82562GT, i checked the vendor code (or whatever it's called) and it's 8086:10c4, used that but still no network. In System Preferences > Network i get "The cable for Built-in ethernet is not plugged in", I used a new cable and still doesen't works. Can someone please help... somehow?! best regards, Igor

hackaroni
I found a solution for myself. I have the same NIC in an HP Pavilion s7410n (JaS 10.4.8). I was able to get it online using the information here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=375856 this was the file that worked for me: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...st&id=12139
