Delete all the Radeon 8500 kexts in the extensions folder if you have a Radeon 8500, 9000, or 9200. Those kexts are incomplete drivers and crash any application when trying to use GL.

 

If that's not the case and you don't have a Radeon 8500-9200... well... look at crash reporter. It's found in Users/YourUsername/Logs/CrashReporter

I have a 2.4GHz Celeron D with 1Gb of RAM. A 40Gb hard drive.

did you use JaS's Patch for the DVD? I never used it but I read in the textfile that comes with it, that you have to

replace your kinda "patched for all" kernel in the root with the one made for your CPU. You can find it in the /

patches folder. If you have NX XD, too, you would have to copy the original kernel from /patches, and rename

it to mach_kernel. ;)

 

That would be my guess, If you have not already copied it of course.
