Hagar
member for boot with -v to find the error & then search & read... and then try some stuff out & hopefully fix your issue... and if not search some more, and read a lot more... and then *maybe* come back & make another post, preferably in an existing thread, once you have lots & lots of information to give people about what the problem is & all the things you've done to try & solve it. Henvan20
Including that in info in your original post would have helped... Anyway, youll soon learn that you wont get help by posting a thread like this. Read up a bit, experiment and use common sense. I had tons of issues with my installs, but I searched the forum and read the wiki. All the info you need is there. I rarely post, I only read. PS: I did the widely known loginwindow fix to sort out the loginwindow hang on one of my installs. Best of luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/80758-gray-apple-logo/#findComment-572569 Share on other sites

Henvan20
Ok fair enough I assume you tried both fixes for loginwindow that came with your distro. Try installing without any graphics drivers. Nothing extra. Let us know what happens. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/80758-gray-apple-logo/#findComment-572639 Share on other sites
