claudius139
I just installed Kalyway 10.5.1 on a P5K motherboard but the onboard network was not working so i bought a cheap Realtek PCI network card and now it's working but surprisingly the internet is working but the card is not recognised in preferences. It’s not saying realtek or anything. Also i don’t see it in the System Info screen??? ..but again, i have access to internet. Do i need to modify a kext file to add my device even if i don’t see the ID in profiler? Please help me!
claudius139
Anyone? By the way, did anybody managed to make the internal ethernet controller from a p5k (plain version, not wifi) working?
time ed
Realtek cards have problems under Leopard. You need to post the vendor and device ID of the card. Depending on the device ID there may be a fix. Same with your built-in NIC. Open Terminal. Type: ioreg -l -w0 -p IODeviceTree >dump.txt Post dump.txt in your reply.
