laxattack Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 much like the topic states, tried with the disk i found in the usual place and ide drive was the only one read, and booting failed. i want to update my existing osx installation minor hardware specs are in my sig, if i need more detail let me know. velvetk Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Did you burn it with DVD-R. It did not boot for me when I used DVD-RW. I tried to install it on IDE but no success, had to switch to SATA. laxattack Posted January 9, 2008 Author Share Posted January 9, 2008 no back up of the vista drive but im not worried about it i want to try to get leo running on that drive anyways, but i try to install leo and it doesnt recognize my sata drives just an IDE one i just so happen to have inbtw i use the leo disk i found on TPB called Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.1 for AMD SSE2/SSE3 (32bits) if there is another one i should be using let me know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
