hellspawn
Hi! I've just ordered my first MacBook (in black) and I want to put 4 GB RAM in it. I would buy the 4 GB Kit from OCZ (DDR2-667, CL5, p/n OCZ2MV6674GK). Has anyone tried this memory kit in a MacBook? Will it work?
skyhighmac
It should work. Its the right speed and if you have the newest gen macbook, your comp can address all 4gb.
hellspawn
Thanks for answering. I know the specs are correct, but there's always a certain uncertainty with notebook RAM, especially if it's a MacBook... However, I have ordered the RAM kit and I will report back if it worked or not.
hellspawn
Ok, got my MacBook and the RAM kit today and I can confirm: it works :-)
JSn1™
Yup. Late 2007 can have up to 4GB ram. Warning, the ones that have GMA950 just support 2GB.
