RollingMac
I successfully installed iATKOS in my P5L-MX MOBO with a MBR Partition, everything went well through out the installation, yet when I boot it up, can only see the blinking cursor. Then I boot up using Gparted Live CD and set a boot Flag on the partition, restart boot up again, the blinking cursor is still there. I don't know why. Can someone help me? raggedjagged
Try running the "fixmbr" command by popping in a Windows XP cd or something and reboot
Dense
iATKOS ir2 does not do the boot0 file. The boot code is incomplete. Boot from the DVD and use fdisk -e /dev/diskX where X is the drive number of the installation. Use the command update to write a fresh MBR microcode. This should only apply on disks that were initially either empty or where the partition table was changed by disk utility. Problem will be fixed in ir3
