minion187
i've read a lot about Cider, wine, crossover, using parallels VMs for gaming....anyone had any experience? i'd love to be able to game in OSX and not have to boot back into windows, even if i do suffer a bit of a performance hit. just wondering if anyone's had any experiences with any of the various methods. ptfff
I use Crossover to play Counter strike:source online with my gf, it performs fine there are some graphical problems here and there but the performance is about on par with my windows setup which i still have active (only due to the fact that my hard drive is slowly dying). It took me about a day to get my graphics card working but yea im happy with the performance. I am happy to test out any games that i have in Crossover but it pretty much worked out of the box, just installed Steam into it and ran it.
