pakaya
well mate. Some of you have problems with PS2 keyboard. the vanilla ACPI with ps2 fix integrate in its plugin a kext called ACPIPS2Nub.kext.but there is a bug in this last one. If you have an usb mouse , your PS2 keyboard is no more detected. this is why some of you have their PS2 keyboards not working. I made a new AppleACPIplatform.kext with a correct ACPIPS2Nub.kext in it. You can find it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/79030248/Apple...m.kext.zip.html Just replace it with kexthelper. now it should works Genius!! Thanks. -DuNe-
Hi DuneQuick question, i cannot put the sata in ahci, only the jmicron sata can be configured as ahci. Funny thing tho, when i hook the dvd rom sata to jmicron and hdd 2, the install is very fast, ake about 20 mins when the sata dvd is on the other controller install takes ages (1h40m) also, i managed to install a couple of times but i cannot get into the system, it keeps telling me to reboot (get a grey screen with a black square with text in 4 languages wich tells me to reboot) upgrade your bios, and you will have AHCIon ich8

-DuNe-
Max CPUID Value Limit exists which is and was always disabled. Sounds strange... Sincerely, i would like to help you , but for now i do not see why. maybe an AppleSMBIOS.kext compatibility problem with your setup....

mohantom
I finally get leo running on my ThinkPad T60. It's awesome! Thanks a lot for the great work! Just one little problem so far: my ethernet lan (intel Pro/1000 PL) does not work whether I chose to install the only driver or not. But it was working out of the box when I was installing Jas 10.4.8. I looked around but could not find any solutions. Anybody has any idea how to fix it? Thank you very much! Sincerely, i would like to help you , but for now i do not see why. maybe an AppleSMBIOS.kext compatibility problem with your setup.... pity though, with a previously tested 10.4.7 jas that worked. well, could be a kext problem... how does one fix something like that? and any idea about the realtek 8101L lan? theoretically it should work, but it doesn't. eclau
It certainly appears so. My USB drives give an error that they weren't properly dismounted when returning from sleep though. Not sure if that is normal? I couldn't even get reboot or shutdown to work on iATKOS. Everything worked fine in ToH RC2, however. Thanks... spanakorizo
what is the difference in the kernel compare to iatkos? iatkos and p5k premium hate each other besides ALL the unsuported stuff in iatkos after the installation (network, audio, jmicron) t0ast is crashing and i couldn't either install the 8800gt there ..no way then i wanted a kernel panic and i had one by changing the iatkos kernel with the kalyway's vanilla so what are the differences in the kernel? defiacnenl
silentj , can you install and then @ first boot it fails ? if so start with -v -f , see whats starting the panic this way you can then reboot and boot into -s remove the kext and reboot, this solved a hairpulling issue on my setup (X1000Driver)
francola
Hey all! Thanks for this great release! I have been able to successfully install by using Bootloaders EFI, but not with vanilla kernal. It just got stuck in a reboot cycle when I used the vanilla kernal options. Does this mean that I will not be able to safely update when 10.5.2 comes out? Thanks

i9300
SSE2 successful install in Dell Inspiron 9300. My previous problems seemed to be with the nvidia drivers. I installed with ONLY sse2 and efi_mbr. This resulted in a bootable system. Thanks Kaly and Dune and everyone else for their work!
