littledragon
I'm IT Manager by day and I run TGP porn sites by night... sad thing is, I started the sites 3 years ago and the income is slowly starting to overtake that of my day job. When asked what I do for a living, I say "Advertising"

Sponsors have strict guidelines on how they want you to advertise their goods. If they find your sites installing stuff or that you're spamming, they'll quickly dump you and you won't be making much money that way. There are exeptions to the rule, a lot of russian sponsors do that kinda thing. Because they're shady in their advertising, chances are, you won't get paid for your sales anyways so not many people use them as sponsors, these sponsors end up advertising their own goods instead. Anyways, I thought us Mac users didn't have to worry about these kinds of things? Edit: Oops, I finally understand what the OP is asking. Those ad bar things that stay on your screen that pay you for staring at it. The only one I've tried was way back in the day with AllAdvantage or something, I got a few checks out of them and then they went belly up. Their business model didn't quite work out. Anyways, I thought us Mac users didn't have to worry about these kinds of things? OK, but the majority of people use Windows anyway.

Went belly up... with the ad revenue they'd collected from having their users surf with their software serving ads.
