Sander122
Hello, I've seen some downloads on TBP etc. with 'disk images'(flat image). You can 'dd' that to your own disk. My question is, how can I make a 'disk' like that so I can 'dd' it to my own harddrive. (I've installed Leopard in vmware atm, and I would like to make it a 'disk image' so I can reinstall it fast). ~pcwiz
What you do is in VMware, you set up everything as you want it in the img and shut down the virtual machine. Then, using qemu-img you convert your VMware VMDK disk file with Leopard on it into the standard IMG format used by the flat images. See the instructions on this page: http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:d4E4z...lient=firefox-a As the page says, its not guaranteed to make a bootable image but its definitely worth a try!
