eeegor
Hello, I've got a problem with my iLife installation. iDVD just won't work the way it should... I mean... it starts properly but the content of the window is completely black... on the right side are the Themes I can use but the center window (where you can see what the Theme looks like) is black. Nothing. I installed Leo on a: ASUS P5PE-VM Intel Celeron D 331 NVidia Geforce 6600GT 512MB DDR RAM [REMOVED] I'm not sure, but I suppose it has to do something with my graphics card...does it? Does anyone know, how I can fix that? I installed Leo just because I needed iDVD to burn my videos decently on a DVD. Please help! qbattersby
do you have qe/ci enabled for your video card? check in system profiler. Also you can use iDVD in Tiger if you update to 10.4.10 or if you just change a plist file to say that you have that version. eeegor
hi, thanks for that fast reply. what should i do, if qe/ci...was not activated? right now the system accepts my geforce 6600gt the way it is... should I install new drivers... And how is that done? as far as I've seen theres a lot of handling with plists and kexts and so on... isn't there a simple installation, that does ALL by itself?
